We are gathering for the start of our annual Balboa Evening Stroll on a nice evening in July. Gib will be leading the Leisure Beagles group, though not with this beagle!
Here we go, off and charging across the Cabrillo Bridge in Balboa Park! The beagles are fresh and frisky and the evening air is wonderfully cool!
We've stopped for a quick breather in the beautiful courtyard of the Museum of Man, shadowed by the awesome California Tower.
The Speedy Beagle bunch has now broken away from the slower Leisure Beagle group and we're on our way to the Park Administration Building near Inspiration Point!
The Speedy Beagles are headed down past the International Cottages towards the Balboa Park Club and the Marie Hitchcock Puppet Theater and it's coming on to twilight soon.
In the meantime, the Leisure Beagles have circled through the museum area and are now awaiting the Speedy Beagles beside the picturesque Lily Pond!
It was a struggle, but Marilyn managed to keep Drambuie from swimming to the Botanical Building, while waiting!
It's now full dusk and we've had a fun and relaxing stroll through our famous Balboa Park! Thanks to all who attended!! (thanks to Marilyn, our club photographer, and Wendy, mother of Bella and Sara, for the pictures!)
